This rules supplement explores the earliest uses of gunpowder and the weapons developed to use it. It covers the manufacture and improvement of powder, guidance for incorporating these elements into a setting, and expanded rules for creating explosives and fireworks as single-use firearms or controlled displays of fire and light. The supplement introduces handgonnes and additional rules for primitive firearms, along with magical explosives, fireworks, wondrous items, cursed powder, a mythic firearm, and a powerful artifact.
