Fortress

A round-based card game for 2–5 players in which players protect royal cards in their hands while attempting to capture opponents’ royals. Non-royal cards are placed to the left and right of royal cards to build fortresses, while cards in hand are used to break through opposing defenses, weakening the player’s own protection in the process. Protected and captured royals score points at the end of each round. The game uses a standard 52-card deck without Jokers and can be played without a table.
