Gardens of Io

Martian gardeners cultivate flowers on a checkered garden on Io. Players take turns tossing seeds from the perimeter to plant flowers diagonally or orthogonally, then advance their Martian on the score track based on the size of the connected group of flowers in the planted flower’s colour. Each player can use one special action once per game, and recovers a previously planted flower whenever their Martian crosses the finish line. When a player runs out of flowers, the Martian furthest along the track wins, with completed laps counted.
