Ghosts

Players hold a hand of five numbered ghost cards in six suits and take turns playing one card and then drawing. A running total of played card values is tracked; playing a card that matches the suit of the top card keeps the total unchanged and reverses turn order. Players may not raise the total above seven; if unable or unwilling to play, a player clears the pile, takes a ghost marker, and begins a new pile by playing a card. The game runs three rounds with hands reshuffled between rounds. Players collect ghost markers for cleared piles, and the player with the fewest ghost markers after three rounds wins.
