High Rise

Players develop a city by collecting resources, constructing multi-floor buildings and repaying favors while moving around a one-way action track. Progress along the track lets players take actions repeatedly in a single lap, but play advances only when others pass, creating push-your-luck timing decisions. Gaining Corruption grants bonuses to actions but triggers periodic penalties during the round and a final scoring loss, so players balance short-term gains against endgame costs. Buildings score 1 victory point per floor, tenants provide variable, powerful abilities that are claimed by landing on their space or building on their card, and bonuses award points for the tallest buildings by neighborhood and overall.
