Impulse: Brake for Launch

An expansion for a space-faring strategy game, this add-on focuses on fighter wings, transport routes, and more frequent battles. Players build and transport wings, deploy combat cards, and send forces through enemy-patrolled territory, where nearby cruisers may join the fight. Wings can pursue routes that lead to multiple battles if they survive each encounter. They target specific unit types, while missiles add casualty choices to the multi-step combat sequence. Combat cards introduce additional effects that can alter the outcome of conflicts.
