Julius Caesar: Game of the Gallic Wars

A two-player wargame depicting the conflicts between Rome and the tribes of Gaul from 58 to 50 B.C. One player seeks to subjugate and control Gaul’s tribes, while the other rallies them, disrupts Roman movements, raids Roman-held territories, and breaks Roman alliances. Card-driven play, military movement, tribal diplomacy, and combat represent the shifting course of the conquest. Scenarios cover short one- or two-year campaigns as well as the complete nine-year war.
