In a troubled borderland, a new king tasks the nobility with building strong castles and protecting the realm from armies and rival lords. Players develop their estates by strengthening their economy, raising armies, and selecting the tools and materials needed to construct buildings and military forces. The game centers on building a castle faster than the other nobles.
