A drought spreads across the land, and the gods demand the kingdom’s most beautiful maiden as a sacrifice. When Corylinne is chosen, the soldier Rynjald sets out to save his childhood love and uncover the truth behind the ritual. The adventure leads through the king’s palace, the secrets of disgraced knights and traveling merchants, and an enchanted forest inhabited by beings that may be confronted in combat or through diplomacy. Characters investigate the failing springs, the temple’s demands, and the doubts surrounding the sacrifice using dice, exploration, and problem-solving in a classic fantasy role-playing adventure.
