Khartoum: Sudan, 1883 to 1885

The Mahdist rebellion sweeps across Sudan, threatening Khartoum and the Anglo-Egyptian forces defending the city. One player commands Mahdist tribal levies and regulars seeking to capture Khartoum, while the other controls British, Egyptian, and mercenary units attempting to relieve General Gordon’s besieged garrison. Players use cards to bring additional units into play and perform special actions. Victory depends on managing these reinforcements and abilities while maneuvering forces across the conflict.
