Players collaboratively create a small-town setting and a cast of young characters who encounter strange, often supernatural mysteries. The rules use a light, cinematic system with simple mechanics for actions and relationships, emphasizing improvisation and shared narrative control. Gameplay alternates between scene play—investigating clues, confronting threats, and roleplaying character interactions—and meta-level town building, where players and the referee establish locations, NPCs, and unusual elements that drive the story. Character options include ordinary kids and a single powerful “powered” character; play focuses on teamwork, problem-solving, and the social dynamics of a close-knit community.
