Lair of the Toad

A zero-level fantasy adventure for OSRIC, first-edition-compatible retroclones, and other editions of the world’s greatest roleplaying game. Young friends from the coastal village of Dùn Mara meet a traveling magister at a local pub and agree to recover her stolen ancestral signet ring, carried into the sewers by an albino rat. The adventure takes the fledgling characters beneath their hometown, where they face unfamiliar dangers before earning the right to call themselves adventurers. It includes a keyed dungeon map, new monsters, new magical items, and four pregenerated characters, with rules support for creating additional zero-level characters.
