Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game – A Crimson Offering

The third Dynasty Pack in the Temptations cycle expands the set of cards available to every Great Clan and introduces new mechanics tied to desperation and dark magic. Players build and modify dynasty decks and include new mahō cards that offer powerful, risky effects in exchange for costs. The dire keyword rewards characters that reach zero fate by granting abilities that trigger when those characters have no fate remaining, encouraging play that balances short-term gain against permanence. Gameplay continues to focus on political and military conflicts between clans, with players choosing when to embrace sacrificial blood magic and when to preserve long-term resources.
