The Quest for the Philosophers' Stone. Players take the roles of alchemists, collecting reagents and combining them through experiments in the Discovery Matrix. They purchase ingredients with gold, gain experience from failed experiments, and acquire knowledge from successful ones. The game uses deck-building with a goal-oriented card-game structure, as players work to transmute physical and mystical elements into the Philosophers' Stone.
