MAJESTY

Mobile armours compete in one-on-one jousting matches across an arena in the colonies’ open extra-solar tournament. The aim is to force the opposing machine out of the ring rather than destroy it, while avoiding cannon fire, homing missiles, and drifting hazards. Players flick discs on separate Throttle and Manoeuvre control boards to determine their armour’s movement. Acceleration carries over between turns, making precise positioning difficult as machines slide, spin, and careen across a hex map. Small control boards allow the game to be played without a large, smooth surface.
