Mars 2049

Players race to establish a colony on Mars and reach the planet’s North Pole first. Starting with a base at the edge of the map, they acquire air, food, and mineral resources, then build additional bases, resource stations, laboratories, and roads toward the center. Mission cards provide peaceful ways to expand and gather resources, or aggressive actions that hinder opposing colonies. The game ends when a player builds a road through the polar ice cap and constructs the water extraction station at the North Pole.
