Monopoly: Tropical Tycoon DVD Game

Players build a tropical resort economy by buying properties and developing them into beach houses, resorts, casinos, parks, restaurants, and piers. Each development type has unique rent rules: casinos pay luck-based rent and may require payouts, parks earn little rent but convert to Fortune Tokens at game end based on weather, piers’ income depends on weather and cruise-ship presence, and restaurants’ rent is affected by neighboring improvements. Random events are driven by a required DVD and a special die face that triggers news broadcasts; these replace traditional Chance and Community Chest cards and change weather and cruise-ship conditions. Players also have Jobs that grant individual advantages. Play ends when a player goes bankrupt (or at a chosen stopping point), and the winner is the player with the most Fortune Tokens after cash, properties, and tokens are counted.
