Primer: The Gamer's Source for Battles from the Age of Reason

An illustrated learning companion for the Battles from the Age of Reason series, focused on the Third Edition rules for mid-eighteenth-century warfare. It explains command control, formations, fire and close combat, disorder, morale, and basic tactics through rules demonstrations and exercises. The Primer also includes learning modules, guidance for updating earlier games to the Third Edition, game support, and 280 upgrade and errata counters for previous titles. It is compatible with all games in the series and some older rules sets; the learning modules require Fontenoy.
