Runaljod: The Sound of the Runes

Players control a band of heroes fighting mythological creatures on a modular board. Each turn players throw physical runes onto a play area; the way the runes land determines the available actions, such as triggering character abilities, exploring new map segments, or invoking divine effects. Enemy activity is driven by a scripted deck that reveals foe actions each round, creating predictable but varied opposition. Combat and movement use miniatures and scenario-based objectives that require cooperation and tactical positioning to complete.
