Players portray members of a 1920s crime family summoned by a ruthless boss after missing money turns up short. Each player receives a secret role, a protected contact, and hidden objectives that guide their actions and alliances. Play proceeds through quick rounds of explanation and accusation: players give improvised excuses, try to justify their whereabouts, and accuse others while managing limited evidence and bargaining tokens. Bluffing, deduction, and role-specific powers determine who survives and who is sentenced, with the group voting to assign penalties until the conflict resolves.
