Song of Blades and Heroes: Revised Edition

A fast-play, skirmish-level fantasy miniature system in which players command small warbands of roughly 5–10 models each. Play uses an action-point mechanic with only six-sided dice and no bookkeeping; turns resolve quickly to support multiple games or a short campaign in a single evening. Rules provide stats for 180+ heroes and monsters, guidance for creating custom characters, six basic scenarios and campaign rules for developing warbands between battles. Movement and ranges use three universal measuring sticks (or an optional hexgrid), and the system supports multiple figure scales and several standalone supplements that expand setting and genre options.
