Players create fighter pilots, manage relationships and personal vices between missions, and take part in structured starfighter engagements focused on phased combat and maneuvering for advantage. The rules include personal and gear stunts for equipment such as energy blasters, hand scanners, and deflector screens, along with an overview of the setting, its factions, and a sample mission involving pirates in the Kepler Valley.
