The Caucasus Campaign

A division-level operational simulation of the 1942 Axis drive into the Caucasus, covering July–November and the struggle for mountain passes, ports and oilfields. Players maneuver regiments to divisions across an 18-mile hex map, conducting week-by-week movement, combat and exploitation while managing terrain effects, determined attacks, defenses and unit morale. Axis forces include mountain, light, SS motorized and panzer formations plus allied contingents; Soviet forces mix regular, Guard, NKVD and naval units with locally recruited formations. Scenarios range from a short six-turn tournament game to a full 14-turn campaign; solitaire play is supported and a typical full game fits into a single sitting.
