The Crumbling Stair

An approximately four-hour adventure for 12th–14th-level characters, set in the ruins of an ancient mage academy destroyed by a massive spell battle nearly 700 years ago. At its center stands a spiral staircase floating above the ground, leading into a haunted cellar where many adventurers have sought legendary riches. The adventure includes exploration of the ruins, seven new items, three new creatures, a modified Wild Magic Surge table, digital maps for each area, and a printer-friendly version.
