The Expanse Boardgame: Doors and Corners

This expansion introduces five optional modules—Leaders, New Tech, Resource Tokens, Protomolecule, and Variable Setup—that can be mixed into the base game in any combination. Leaders attach to fleets and grant influence when they move with those fleets. New Tech presents three random choices whenever a technology is earned, creating more variety in available powers. Resource Tokens act as a flexible currency for paying CP costs, adding up to 4 AP to a card, advancing on the initiative track, and competing for a majority bonus at final scoring. The Protomolecule module provides an additional scoring mechanism, and Variable Setup lets players place fleets and influence anywhere during initial setup.
