The Game of Life (2013- Editions)

Players progress along a linear board by spinning a wheel and moving a pawn through milestones like education, careers, marriage, homeownership and retirement. Money and assets are gained mainly by landing on Payday spaces and resolving Action cards, which can award or deduct set sums or multipliers based on the spin. Early in the path players choose between attending college (pay tuition, follow a longer track and draw different career cards) or skipping college and taking an alternate career route. A few branch choices affect housing and investments, but most outcomes depend on wheel results and card draws, with the winner determined by total assets at the end.
