The Island of Doctor Necreaux: Second Edition

A cooperative pulp-sci-fi adventure game for 1–4 players. Players create agents, infiltrate a secret island, defeat the doctor’s minions, rescue captured scientists, and escape in a shuttlecraft before the Doomsday Device destroys the island. Players take turns simultaneously as a team, choosing whether to explore or rest. Exploring involves setting a speed to determine how many encounters to resolve, balancing the need to search the adventure deck against traps and other dangers. Resting allows agents to heal and recharge their limited ability charges. Card-based agents, island layouts, secret caches, and variants provide different challenges and difficulty levels, with 2d6 used for most resolution checks.
