The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Land of Sorrow

Players continue a campaign through Mordor, attempting to free prisoners and disrupt enemy supply lines before reaching a fortress stronghold. The scenario tasks players with leading a revolt against heavily armed slavers and confronting powerful Easterling enemies in scenario-specific encounters. Gameplay uses the cooperative card-driven structure: players manage heroes, play allies and events, commit to quests, and resolve combat and treachery against the encounter deck. This pack adds a 60-card set of encounter cards for the chapter, plus new player cards that expand deckbuilding options, including a new hero with an Eagle trait and a contract card that modifies an ally’s capabilities.
