The Solomons

A science-fiction setting book details an asteroid belt operating as a lawless free zone, where corporations, nation states, and private groups establish mining stations, trade hubs, salvage bases, research facilities, and criminal hideouts. It covers large asteroids, rotating orbital habitats, and the faction-controlled Freeport, along with the many settlements scattered throughout the belt. Missions range from hauling cargo and transporting passengers to salvage, trade, exploration, and covert operations. Law and order is limited outside the major habitats and colonies, leaving remote locations open to profit, danger, and competing interests. The book concludes with “Warpstone,” a 12-page adventure set at an asteroid research station.
