Theater of the Hammed

This Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure is designed for a party of 3rd- or 4th-level characters. In the town of Minstrel, a failed ritual unleashes bloodthirsty creatures from a cursed fable, while raiders control the port and demons occupy the local amphitheater. Characters explore the theater, recover scattered pages of an enchanted bedtime tale, and use them to uncover the weaknesses of its monsters. The Misbelief Rating tracks how deeply the party falls under the theater’s illusions, strengthening both the characters and their enemies. The adventure includes illustrated player handouts that assemble into a fairy tale, along with a wearable medallion template for tracking misbelief.
