This scenario for characters of any experience level takes place aboard a river barge travelling along a tributary of the River Reik, though it can be adapted to another river or replaced with a journey by road. It can be played independently or inserted as an interlude in a longer campaign. The adventure unfolds across four chapters, with key events and the player characters’ choices shaping its direction rather than following a fixed plot. The scenario includes background, a synopsis, key NPCs, experience guidelines, and handouts; the Tome of Corruption is useful but not required.
