Players play a compact trick-taking game with a forty-card deck in which cards come in five colors numbered 1–8; only three, four, or five colors are used depending on player count. Each of three rounds starts by revealing a mission card that sets a target condition for that round. Players follow suit when possible and win tricks in the usual way. When a trick is won, its cards are sorted by color into separate stacks with the lowest card on top, and those stacks sit atop any previously won cards. At the end of the round, players compare the top cards of their color stacks against the mission target to determine whether they bust or score points; scoring varies for basic and advanced missions.
