Wizards of Shadowfell

A variant core character class for d20 fantasy roleplaying, this secretive and powerful spellcaster is inspired by legendary arch-mages of myth and literature. Rather than casting frequently, the Wizard of Shadowfell uses a small number of exceptionally potent spells, each chosen with care and capable of changing the course of events. The class excels at tactics, deception, divination, history, politics, and court intrigue. It often influences events from behind the throne through proxies, while adventuring characters serve as educated and purposeful leaders who plan journeys, assess threats, and prepare allies for the dangers ahead.
