Foundations of Rome (Maximus Edition)

Players act as rival architects acquiring city lots and erecting buildings across a shared map of Rome. On each turn a player buys land, constructs a structure, or collects income to fund further development. Buildings include residences, commercial sites, and civic works that generate population and commerce; scoring occurs each round for Glory Points based on those metrics and for interactions with neighboring players’ buildings. The game uses detailed miniatures to represent structures and emphasizes spatial placement, resource management, and timing of construction.
