Himalaya

Himalaya is a board game for 3–4 players. It plays in 60 minutes and is meant for ages 8 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4. It is rated 7,1 out of 10 by 6 Ludoya reviewers.

Players lead a high-plateau tribe’s yak caravan across snowy passes to collect and deliver goods—salt, barley, tea, jade and gold—needed for tribal development. Each turn players secretly program six sequential moves for their caravan along the map’s paths, attempting to pick up cargo, reach villages and anticipate opponents’ routes. Deliveries let players spend goods to place stupas, send sherpa delegations, or increase livestock, advancing religious, political and economic influence respectively. Scoring eliminates the lowest religious and political players in order; the remaining players compare economic influence to determine the winner.
