Pictomania

Un joc de petrecere cu desen și ghicit simultan, în care fiecare jucător este în același timp ilustrator și ghicitor. Jocul se desfășoară pe parcursul a cinci runde. La începutul fiecărei runde sunt dezvăluite șase cărți cu mai multe opțiuni de cuvinte, iar fiecare jucător primește un simbol și un număr care indică ce cuvânt trebuie să deseneze. Toți jucătorii încep să deseneze simultan și pot plasa o singură presupunere pe desenul oricărui alt jucător; presupunerile sunt definitive. Când termină, jucătorii iau jetoane bonus din centru până când este revendicat ultimul jeton, apoi dezvăluie desenele și verifică presupunerile. Presupunerile corecte făcute devreme aduc mai multe puncte, cele greșite sunt penalizate, iar mecanica „oaia neagră” aplică puncte negative celui mai slab ghicitor. Punctajele sunt calculate în fiecare rundă; jucătorul cu cel mai mare total după cinci runde câștigă.

Hilarious game that can remind to Dixit, in a less artistic way. It's not about drawing well it's about drawing fast and clear. Great sensations

In the first round of this game, we used the basic deck of cards, and people were pretty much done with the game after that. Everyone except the player who brought it hated the time pressure of needing to both draw, look at the cards with the possible word choices and then guess at in the same phase. For the second round, we whipped out the highest level of difficult cards. That's when the game changed from frustrating to fun. The high level cards are all either abstract concepts, or they are super similar to other words. For example one card had the drawing prompts "liquid" "water" and "fluid" or something like that. The player drawing gets assigned one of these, and wants people to make the right guess based on his drawing. Very interesting. I would play this again, but only using the high level cards. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ☆ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment
