Villages of Valeria

Players build and expand a village by developing resources, constructing buildings, and recruiting adventurers in a card-driven tableau game. Each turn a player picks one action—tax, harvest, develop, build, or recruit—and other players may follow that action with reduced benefits. Buildings serve as both victory-point structures and optional resource cards when developed under the Castle. Resources are developed by discarding cards or paid-use of opponents’ resources, while gold buys recruits and access to others’ resources. Play ends when a player reaches ten combined buildings and adventurers.
