Set in an alternate 2012, the game follows adventurers racing to find a powerful relic as the world faces an unfolding supernatural apocalypse. Players travel across the globe, explore dangerous wilderness, gather minor Artifacts, and confront disasters, cults, rival seekers, and creatures from myth and legend. Characters use personal traits, equipment, and special abilities to influence the outcome of Adventures. The game combines exploration, competition, and light strategy through a board, roughly 350 cards, and numerous tokens.
