Powerful families profit from shady building contracts as a city expands during a real estate boom. Players place cards face down to claim building lots or face up to construct buildings on lots they own. Spreading quickly secures space but limits future options, while waiting allows others to take the most desirable locations. Buildings are scored at the end according to their placement and surrounding conditions, generating happiness and sadness points.
