Battlegroup: Spring Awakening

A late-war Eastern Front supplement covering the fighting in Hungary during the winter and spring of 1945, from the siege and relief attempts at Budapest through Operation Spring Awakening and the Soviet counter-offensive toward Vienna. The book adds army lists for the final German panzer divisions and Hungarian forces, updates the Russian lists from Battlegroup: Fall of the Reich, and introduces rules for snow, thawing mud, heavy armour clashes, and unreliable allies. It also includes six linked historical scenarios forming a campaign about 1st SS Panzer Division’s assault along the Árviz Canal. Battlegroup: Fall of the Reich is required for full use.
