Founding a city does not automatically give you its income — you must use the Activate City action to Collect (or use a specific Advance that grants a free Collect); Activate also lets you construct or recruit in that city and affects city Mood if used multiple times (page 11).

No — while you may move a Land unit onto a Ship and move that Ship during the same Move Action, actually disembarking the transported unit requires a subsequent Move Action (the example and full transport rules are on pages 14–15).

If you have Tactics you may play an Action card facedown then reveal both players' cards, roll a die per Unit, apply any Clash-icon abilities (each matching Unit’s Clash can trigger once per roll), sum dice plus Clash modifiers to get your combat value, then divide that total by 5 (round down) to determine hits (pages 22–23).

Settlers are not Army Units and cannot be chosen as casualties, but if all a player's Army Units in a space are removed the Settlers there are also removed automatically; when a city is captured the previous owner may place a Settler in another city if they have one (page 24).

You target a city of at least size 2 within range equal to your city’s size (Influence may cross Sea spaces but not unrevealed Regions), then roll one die (success on 5–6); you may spend Culture tokens to add +1 range per token or +1 to the die per token to boost success (page 17).
