The operation is controlled by a villainous takeover, with Santa or another holiday figure imprisoned and an elf resistance seeking help. The game provides holiday-themed character options, descriptors, Santa variants, villains, locations, security forces, spells, disguises, and a compound map. Players plan and carry out a fantasy woodland heist, with a Holiday Meltdown rule adding further complications.
