Dark Souls: The Card Game

Players cooperate to explore Encounter cards, fight varied enemies and collect Souls and Treasure. Collected resources are spent to evolve each player’s deck, improving offensive and defensive options for later challenges. Each player’s deck doubles as their health: cards play as attacks or defenses and are discarded until a bonfire rest refreshes the deck. Players must balance using cards to survive immediate threats with conserving resources for boss battles that escalate in difficulty. Play emphasizes quick adaptation to enemy attack patterns and careful deck management as the group prepares for powerful bosses.
