A tabletop roleplaying game set in the Wilderlands after the Battle of the Five Armies and before the War of the Ring. The Free Peoples establish trade routes, renew alliances, and explore the lands around northern Mirkwood, the Lonely Mountain, and the eastern Misty Mountains, while Orcs and other threats gather in the shadows. Players create characters from the cultures of Middle-earth and undertake journeys, face dangers, build relationships, and resist the growing influence of darkness. The book includes detailed setting information, artwork, and two full-color poster maps.
