Diskwars: Orcs of The Broken Plain

A fantasy miniatures wargame played with double-sided cardboard disks instead of miniatures. Players choose from eight factions, build armies to an agreed point value, and battle across terrain with different effects on movement, combat, and line of sight. Players take turns activating up to three units, moving disks by flipping them end over end, resolving battles when disks land on opposing units, casting spells, and firing missiles by dropping disks onto targets. Units have different attributes, sizes, alignments, and abilities such as flight or ranged attacks. Scenarios support two to eight players and include objectives such as eliminating an enemy army or controlling a central area.
