España 20: Volume 1

This set contains two games about battles for control of the Iberian Peninsula during the Napoleonic Wars. One depicts the 1812 Battle of Arapiles, where British and French armies maneuver through the hills south of Salamanca and react to unexpected opportunities. The other covers the 1808 Battle of Bailén, as a large but inexperienced Spanish army attempts to coordinate against French forces that must choose between holding their position and withdrawing toward Madrid. Guerrillas, a baggage train carrying looted treasure, and Swiss mercenaries who may change sides add further complications.
