Fortress Malta

This historical wargame expansion examines alternate Axis plans to invade Malta during World War II, including an Italian assault in 1940 and the German plan to target Malta instead of Crete in 1941. It also introduces variable defenses and alternative attacking forces, including additional paratroopers, Italian divisions, and captured Soviet tanks in German service. The expansion includes historical background, discussions of German and Italian planning, and design notes. It requires Island of Death to play and adds 420 laser-cut playing pieces for its scenarios.
