Insidious Sevens

A trick-taking game in which players predict how many tricks they will win over seven rounds. Each player receives seven cards from a deck numbered 0–7 in five colors, then passes cards according to the round. Players simultaneously reveal a bidding card to determine the starting player and the trump color before playing seven tricks. Players must follow the lead by color or number when possible. The highest trump wins; otherwise, the highest card matching the lead wins. Scoring rewards successful bids and penalizes over- or undertricks. An optional rule requires the bids not to total seven, prompting repeated bidding when they do.
