John Prados' Third Reich

Players lead Britain, France, Italy, Germany, the United States, or the Soviet Union through a strategic simulation of World War II, managing land, naval, air, economic, and political operations. Major powers can influence minor countries through diplomacy, bribes, and territorial concessions while competing with both enemies and allies for key objectives. Basic Resource Points represent industrial, agricultural, and financial production. They fund unit construction, offensives, replacements, political influence, and other activities, while enemy conquest and strategic warfare can reduce a nation’s resources. Players activate headquarters and units, determine turn order by drawing markers, and resolve combat with dice. Scenarios begin in different years from 1938 through 1945, with political events adding changing historical possibilities.
