A postwar fantasy setting explores the ruins of the fallen Æsir Empire. The land is largely empty after the final battle, with women and children fleeing east to Midgard and the last Æsir refuge or south to Vétrnývlast, where they join the Slováски. Most Æsir men went to war, more than a million died, and only a few survivors remain.
